Retired Pay Restoration Act of 2007
Legislation introduced into the House and the Senate in January would allow concurrent receipt of both military retired pay and VA disability compensation, regardless of disability rating. Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) introduced S 439 while Representative Gus Bilrakis (R-FL) introduced HR 303. Both bills have been referred to committee.
