AAFES and Military OneSource Take Messages Online, at Home and In Store

Television, radio or direct mail? No matter how military Families access information, news of Military OneSource is coming to a screen, store or mailbox near them as the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) leverages a variety of communication avenues in support of the military’s free information and referral service.

“Whether in Guam or Georgia, the exchange is a part of troops’, and their Families’, daily lives,” said AAFES’ Chief Marketing Officer Richard Sheff. “As a result, exchanges have multiple outlets in place to keep shoppers apprised of the latest news and information of not only exchange programs, but also important initiatives like Military OneSource.”

Beyond commercials on the BX’s and PX’s in-store television and radio networks and advertising of Military OneSource programs through E-Newsletters, catalogs and the Exchange Online Store at, AAFES is also providing content regarding the exchange benefit to

“The partnership between AAFES and Military OneSource is one that will ultimately pay dividends for the military Families both organizations exist to serve,” said Sheff. “AAFES is eager to produce video and audio content that will be posted to Military OneSource’s site to help better educate military shoppers on the advantages of making the BX, PX or Exchange Online Store their first retail choice. Furthermore, we’re excited about the opportunity to spread the word about Military OneSource through multiple communication avenues.”
