Torchbearer Issue Paper (The Army's Current Force), April 2004: Third in a series of discussion papers on key issues relevant to the Army's Current Force, takes a look at the various unmanned aerial vehicles currently in use in the Global War on Terrorism, as well as some systems being developed for the future. UAVs have proved to be great combat multipliers, enabling combat commanders at all levels to conduct intelligence, targeting, battle damage assessment, communications relay and lethal operations.
