by Lieutenant General Robert Wilson (March 2008) provides an overview of IMCOM’s mission (to provide the Army with installation capabilities and services to support expeditionary operations in a time of persistent conflict, and to provide a quality of life for Soldiers and families commensurate with their service) and the strategy the command is employing to support the Army Chief of Staff’s four imperatives for placing the Army in balance by 2011.
